JDA Rules and Guidelines

JDA Registration & Deposit
Customers must register and make a deposit to use the JDA system.
A deposit of 200,000 JPY is required for each vehicle purchase made thru JDA unless otherwise agreed upon with your sales agent. If a purchase is made thru JDA, the customer will need to make a 2nd deposit before he can bid on a 2nd vehicle.
The deposit is refundable if no purchase is made. Bank transfer fees and credit card fees (if the deposit was made by credit card) will be deducted from the deposit.
Nikkyo has the right to restrict a customer's use of the JDA system for any reason.

JDA Account Access
Sharing your JDA membership/access with other customers is strictly prohibited.
The use of any web crawler or data gathering program through the customers account is strictly prohibited.
Inactive accounts will be deleted (an account with no login or purchase within 3 months is considered inactive).

JDA Bidding
Customers may set a bid, change a bid and cancel a bid anytime before the auction start time.
After the auction has opened no new bids, bid changes and bid cancellations are allowed.
If a bid is successful, the customer must purchase the car. Cancellations will incurr a cancellation penalty.
A successful bid may be 10,000 - 30,000 JPY more than the customer's actual bid. This is because the bidding system at auction houses are fast and sometimes difficult to bid precisely.

JDA Times
JDA Lane A and Lane B run from Monday until Saturday weekly. Auction data for bidding is available the day before each auction (data is available from Sunday until Friday). Auctions are sometimes closed during national holidays.
Lane A and Lane B auction car data will be available for bidding from approximately 8:00PM JST the day before each auction. Auctions start at approximately 9:00AM the day of the auction, at which no more bids, changes and cancellations will be allowed.
Tender auction car data will be available for bidding from approximately 8:00PM JST 1 to 3 days before each auction. Auctions start at approximately 12:00PM the day of the auction, at which no more bids, changes and cancellations will be allowed.
Bid results will be emailed to customers after the auction finishes. Results may be delayed if the auction is delayed.

JDA Fees
Fee guideline is outlined in the Fee System section. Sometimes extra charges may incurr due to special shipping arrangements, inspection certificates, certain destinations etc. If you are unsure about any fees, please contact Nikkyo (Tel: +81-3-5960-0270).
